Sara is one of my (Trista’s) oldest friends from college. Roommates in freshman year, it was love at first site. Until I met her son, then I left her for him. Please note the Harry Potter pajamas, he has AMAZING taste.
Petersons at the Historical Society
One big perk about photography is that we have the perfect reason to explore new places or, as in this case, explore places we’ve already been more deeply. We drive through Skippack all the time and even see the Revolutionary War-era reenactments that the Skippack Historical Society puts on each year. However, we have never taken the time to walk the property, which was beautiful, rustic, and captured the morning light superbly. Another example of known-areas-left-unexplored occurred when we went into town for brunch after the session (at least we thought the session was done…). We parked and were surprised by this white pergola that is completely blocked from view when just walking by! Apologies to both Chris and Henry for saying we were done then making you let us take more photos and delaying breakfast. We know Kristen didn’t mind ๐
Ivin’s Newborn Session
We waited (not-so) patiently for 39 weeks and 6 days for this big guy to make his appearance and he certainly did not disappoint! He almost didn’t fit in some of our props, which we think makes the pictures even cuter and was constantly trying to Houdini out of the swaddles. He refused to lay anywhere except on his back or side, despite much prodding and positioning. Big brother and resident cheese-ball, Brayden, could not be prouder of his baby brother. Enjoy all 9lb and 2 oz of pictures with this snuggly babe!
Fiona’s Newborn Session
This little girl arrived six weeks early and insists on experiencing everything life has to offer. This is evident by her refusing to close her eyes during our session. This didn’t have affect on her cuteness, however, as you can see from the photos below.
The Baums in Lansdale
Fall family photos. You picture strolling under golden and crimson canopies, stepping on crunchy leaves, and smelling a wood-burning chimney in the distance that promises hot chocolate and snuggles. Now put a 1.5 year old in the mix and it’s a lot of running around, finding things to make her sit still (rocks? Who knew?!), and inventive ways to make her smile or laugh. Mostly you just let her do her thing and follow in awe (and just a touch of fear) at her abundant energy. We took advantage of that time to talk lots of football and to take a few pictures. Hope you like them. Oh! And don’t forget to check out how much this little girl has grown since last year!
The Steinhauers in Perkasie
The weather has finally turned chilly which means it’s perfect time for bundled up strolls through lovely tree-lined walkways. Okay, so the leaves are a little late this year but that doesn’t mean we can’t still walk hand-in-hand and snuggle up with our families. At least that’s what we told the Steinhauer’s when we convinced them to brave the first really cold and windy day of the Fall last weekend! Our noses may have been a little red by the end but we love capturing the fun this growing family has together!
